The Lincoln Lutheran boys basketball team achieved a lot more than just winning basketball games. Sure, we won lots of games over ranked opponents and won several tournaments. As players we achieved being better students in the classroom, cleaning up after ourselves and leaving the place better than we found it. We learned that there is going to be struggles and hardships in life after tough losses and how to handle ourselves after them. We got good at having a positive body language even when things didn’t go our way. Standing up for your brothers on the court and celebrate their successes. The bench mob loved to celebrate success and as a result, other coaches would scout the bench mob because of the energy they brought to the game.
