The warriors were on fire to start the season. Going 4-0 and two wins over ranked opponents to start the season. A tough loss to Syracuse gave the warriors there first lost of the season. They would bounce back with a win at Aquinas, then face the new number one team in the state Wahoo. After a great first half, the warriors fell apart in the second half and loss to Wahoo. Lutheran would move on to the holiday tournament and easily win that, then play in the L.I.T. where they would easily win that. Coming off of a six game win streak, the warriors would go into a hostile environment and play Archbishop Bergan. Lutheran would get wrecked by them, but bounced back with an overtime win over Bishop Neumann a ranked opponent. Heading into the conference tournament, the warriors had the two seed, but would lose to GICC and Boys Town by a combined three points. The warriors would end the season with Auburn and lose a close one to the state champs by seven. Playing the last regular season game, Lutheran faced ranked class B Mt. Michael and would stick with them and lose by one point in a heartbreak game. Moving on to the post season, Lutheran would be in the toughest sub district in the state facing Christian. The warriors would lose a close one and end the season 13-9. Team members celebrate L.I.T
