Lutheran faced it’s toughest foe of the season in class B No.4 Mt. Michael on the road. It was a hostile environment, packed with many rowdy students in a little small gymnasium. Mt. Michael would start on fire early going on a 10-0 run to start the game. Lutheran would not let that get in there heads and started responding back. After a stellar second quarter, it was a tied ball game at 25. A back and fourth game saw Mt. Michael up four points going into the fourth quarter. Isaac McCoy would play out of his mind in the fourth quarter. He would have a response for every Mt. Michael bucket. He would end up hitting 5 threes in the fourth and 7 threes for the game. Unfortunately, that would not be enough as the warriors fell 60-59. Lutheran would move to 13-7 on the season.
